The Role of the Birth Partner - info & practice workshop

Don't miss this new webinar from the Pregnancy, Baby and You Cheshire Team sharing key information and practice for birth partners to be efficient help in labour.

Hosted by two experienced Prenatal Yoga teachers and birth preparation facilitators Saffron and Maryline who have over 30 years combined experience supporting women and couples in the run up to giving birth!

This class will suit pregnant women, birth partners, student birth workers and anyone interested in the practical applications of breathing, movements and massage for childbirth.

Saffron and Maryline will share all their tips for a smooth set-up for birth at home or hospital.

This info will be useful to all birth scenarios whether labour starts spontaneously or by induction, and relevant if you are preparing for a caesarean birth.

You will practice key techniques including breathing for comfort in birth, plus massage and calming practices to keep mum comfortable leading up to the due date.

Your partner will leave the class knowing how to facilitate a positive birth experience, by creating and maintaining a conducive environment for birthing and meeting your exclusive needs.

The fee includes post-webinar support, takeaway sheets and video material so that the couple can carry on the discussion after the event, on what work for them personally as techniques and choices.

Invite your partner, your mum, sister, best friend, anyone supportive and key to your birth experience and preparation. Block the evening out to create the atmosphere you'll want to replicate for your serene birth experience.

The class will be ideal from 28 weeks onwards, right up to your estimated due date, however everyone pregnant past 14 weeks is welcome to take part.
